Golden Lies is a story centered around Yuko Sahura, a teen daredevil willing to entertain for the right price―even if it means to put himself at risk. His journey starts when he first hears about Eenta's lost temple and about the group of people in search for it. Tired of living a peasant's life and wanting to provide for his family, Yuko leaves home to search of the golden temple's riches, unware of what he was truly getting himself into.

This story is about desperation and what we are willing to do and give up to reach a goal. It serves as a moral to those who become blind with greed, always seeking high power, fame, or in this case: riches.
